LOW INCOME ASSISTANCE

Northern Lights Regional Humane Society is beyond EXCITED to announce a new program, courtesy of a grant received from the Four Feet Companion Foundation!

For many years, one of our goals has been to offer a Low Income Spay/Neuter Assistance Program. Today, we are thrilled to share that we are able to offer financial assistance to low income pet owners in the High Level area towards the cost of spay and neuter surgeries.

Individuals can apply by completing the application and submitting it along with supporting documentation to nlhs@live.ca. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis by members of the NLRHS Board of Directors.

Spaying and neutering not only helps control the stray population in our community—it also prevents health problems, reduces aggressive behaviours, and gives your pets a longer, healthier life.

This is more than a medical procedure. It’s a commitment to compassion, community, and a future where fewer animals suffer on the streets.

Please reach out if you have any questions, or if you would like to provide feedback for maintaining this program in the long term.
